A molecular result before the owner leaves the room.
Isothermal amplification puts real nucleic-acid testing on the consulting-room bench. No thermal cycler, no cold chain, no courier to a reference laboratory. Most of the world still sends these samples away and waits a day; this is the line that changes the appointment.
